Zeus
With 6” (150mm) aperture no detail remains unseen. Thanks to the big aperture you can see almost every Deepsky object perfectly. Planets can be also viewed easily and very detailed.
The high amount of basic features und the large 31,7 mm Eyepieces guarantee best illustration quality. High quality Plossl Eyepieces are already included as basic features. The equatorial EQ-3 mount gives a firm stand and can be operated / guided by hand or optionally by a motor. Your object in focus won’t get lost! The big 6x30 finderscope is being held by 6 mounting screws that make a very precise alignment possible.
If you would like to transport your telescope you have the possibility to simply detach it in 2 pieces within seconds. The tube rings are equipped with quick couplers that allow you to open them by hand. Stand and mount can be transported easily after the tube was detached.
Observing tips:
Choose the place you observe rom very carefully!
Towns, cities, lanterns, airports etc. radiate a lot of light into their surrounding atmosphere. Because of this the sky is lit up and only the brighest shining objects in the sky can be seen. Because of this fact you should choose a place where you have little “light pollution”. The best places are hills in rural areas are your nearest observatory. If you have found such a place you can fully enjoy the sky. If you want to observe Deepsky objects the place you choose to observe is crucial because a lot of objects can only be seen if the light pollution is very low.

The equatorial mount EQ-3 The EQ-3 mounts dimensions are prefectly proportioned and gives a firm stand and support while you focus. The mount also allows to be adjusted manually. After the telescope was aligned the tube can be moved with the earth turn by using the flexible cables. The objects you focused on won’t get lost! A matching motor is optionally available - it adjusts the telescope automatically and is equipped with a 2-axis-steering with a hand control. This feature makes it perfectly suita ble for astro-photography!
Why using the optional motor? If you increase the enlargement over 100x the objects you can see tend to fade out of your visual field very fast. You can only prevent this by adjusting the telescope permanently to the earths turn by hand. If you need to change the objective it might happen that in the meantime until you have refocused the object already moved on out of your sight. If you use a motor the telescope is adjusted permanently and evenly, which means you can totally focus on your observed object. If you need to change the objective the motor still keeps on adjusting and your designated object will still be available.

Adjustable optics The primary and the secondary mirror are adjustable by using 3 screws. The screws are easy to access and easy to adjust. If you buy a telescope it is tremendously important to choose a telescope with adjustable mirrors! A lot of cheap telescopes lack this ability or can’t be adjusted because of their poor optics. These telescopes are practically hard to use because once the optics were change the stars can no longer be seen as spots.
Why adjusting? The reflectors mirrors might be adjusted by accident if you transport the telescope, it is dropped accidentially etc. This adjustment effects the picture you can sse through the telescope. Stars won’t be round spots any longer, they are most likely blurred are pictured diffused. This is the reason why all our reflector telescopes are equipped with an adjustment possibility. which is easy to access and easy to use. The adjustment itself can be learned without a lot of problems and with little training. The manual which is included pictures the single steps and shows explanating pictures. A great helper is our adjustment laser, which is optionally available.
