Laser Collimator for Newton Telescopes 1,25” and 2”
With the help of this laser you can easily align the optics of your reflector telescope. Just slide the laser collimator into the focus tube of your telescope and find out wether the mirrors are adjusted properly or not.
The laser comes in a packing which can be used to transport it with you, an 2” adapter and batteries.
The advantage of using this laser and not align the mirrors just using an eyepiece or your eyes is obvious: you can easily align the mirror in the dark after you transported your telescope and still have 2 hands free for other work that needs to be done also.
Since the laser can be turned 360° you can p.e. turn the laser to you while you adjust the main mirror and directly see how the laserdot moves on the disk. This way you don’t have to walk back and forth to see the result of your adjustments. Especially in case you have a very long telescope this laser is a helper you don’t want to miss, and therefor it should be in every users equipment.
