Eyepieces

If you observe objects with your telescope you will always have the need for different eyepieces: you need a lower enlargement for moon, deep-sky and galaxy observations - and then you need a high enlargement in order to view planets.

Our recommendation: Never use an enlargement that is higher than your aperture x2. For example: if you own a telescope with an aperture of   90 mm your chosen enlargement should not be higher than 180x.

You can calculate the enlargement: Divide your telescopes focal lenght with the aperture (make sure to use the same units when you measure)   For example: your telescope has a focal lenght of 1000 mm / an aperture of 10 mm = 100x enlargement in the telescope.
