Our Professional Series offers telescope tubes which meet the highest requirements. Only tubes that meet our extraordinary standards regarding optical and mechanical quality are used. The ED telescopes for example captivate through their chroma and excellent contrast. The achromatic refractors are equipped with particularly high-quality lens-systems that are not comparable to “normal” Fraunhofers. All focusers used in this series are suitable for astrofotography. This series was knowingly build in a modular way, so the customer can custom-build his telescope out of our components. After the both very successful ED 80 and ED 102, we now introduce our newest Astro-Professional refractor ED 110.
This telescope peaks out due to its very high overall quality standard, the realatively low price and its first class ED optics with reduced color error.
The retractable dew cap is equipped with a clamping screw to hold the cap securely.
Another new feature is the 2”, 2nd generation Crayford focuser, which was completely redone and now works even smoother than before and now has the ability to hold even heavy accessories safely. The focuser can be turned 360° and held in its position.
We offer the ED 110 in 2 versions. As OTA with tube rings and mounting plate for the most commonly used mounts and as Deluxe Edition with a quality transport case and a red dot finderscope.

Sharp design: The high quality white paint with a glossy mother-of-perl effect gives this telescope a one of a kind finish. The rings and caps in blue-metallic set nice accents toghether with the engraved
Astro-Professional logo on the focuser.

The main operational areas for this telescope are large-field observations, astro-photography, moon- and planet observations and ground observations. Deep-Sky observations are also possbile (but limited).
 

Highly precise working 2” Crayford focuser with 1:10 reduction.
We choose this focuser because it is perfectly suitable for
astro-photography and has a very good overall quality.
Due to the 1:10 reduction the camera or eyepiece can be focused precisely. The focuser is equipped with a 1.25” reduction ring in order to make the use of 1.25” accessories possible. Since it is 360° turnable it perfectly adapts to its user. It is also equipped with a scale.

The ED 110 is equipped with a first class coated ED optics featuring a blackened inner tube with a screen system for highest possible optical quality. The dew cap is retractable so the telescope is even more compact and easier to transport.

Here you can see the red dot finderscope on a metal holder. The finderscope is adjustable in both brightness and the size of the red dot so you can always orientate yourself at the sky.
One can attach the finderscope either to the tube ring or the focuser.
The quick coupler gives the user the possibility to attach and detach the finderscope without any tools, so the telescope and the finderscope can be stowed in the transport case quickly.

The aluminium transport box (standard feature) protects the refractor from dust and impacts during it is transported. The case is equipped with a handle and can be locked. The refractor fits perfectly in it as soon as the dew cap is retracted.
This case is a new, even more stable type.
